You can select resources based on whether your learner is BLL or ELL, or what level they are at. It even indicates if the resource is for speaking, reading, writing, grammar or vocabulary. All tutors complete I2O (Intake to Outcomes) training before they begin tutoring. Modules are designed to provide tutors which knowledge about various teaching techniques. There are also a wealth of resources that can be used as lessons and to help tutors develop lesson planning skills. The I2O library has recently been redesigned to make it easier to find materials based on a learner's proficiency level. It's always a great time to explore resources that are available to you! Visit Intake-to-Outcomes, log in and explore! (Be sure to click "All Products" in the upper right of the page.) The 'Reading Libraries & Curriculums' and 'Language Libraries & Curriculums' are all free to enroll. Once you click 'enroll', scroll through the many topics until you find one that would be of interest to your learner. Be sure to check out the Teaching Guide, which provides detailed guidance on how to structure a lesson. If there is another module you are interested in that has a fee for enrollment, contact your program coordinator to arrange access.
